The Cairngorms national park is the largest national park in the UK and has over 50 Munros within its boundaries. There are just so many options for guided mountain bike routes in the Cairngorms that we are spoilt for choice. The main area of the Cairngorms can be accessed from Aviemore in the north and Braemar in the south, meaning we can guide you no matter which part of Scotland you are coming from. Your Cairngorms MTB Guide will be able to match a ride to your skill levels, ambitions and the weather. They will also provide you with the peace of mind that comes with riding with a qualified, first aid trained Caingorms Mountain Bike Guide.
Mountain biking in the Cairngorms means big open plateau's, huge glens that cut through the mountains and all of this ease accessible for a day-long guided mountain bike trip or multi-day adventures through this vast area.
Popular choices are Carn Ban Mor above Glen Feshie, Ben Macdui, Lochnager, Beinn a' Bhuird. All of these trails are part of our Munro by MTB courses but there are other options too that suit all levels and can be used when the weather doesn't allow us to take in the higher mountain tops.
As the area is so large and served by two large towns there is once again so many options for accommodation, food and drink. The River Spey runs through the Cairngorm's national park and is the source of some of Scotland's most famous single malts and a tour of one of these distilleries is a must-do.
